I’m a writer, editor, and communicator living in Washington, DC, with my two cats. I’ve worked as an editor with National Geographic Kids for over a decade.

I served as a volunteer board member for the DC Bird Alliance, and I’m currently a DC Master Naturalist in training. I love being outside, picking up trash, and firing up the iNaturalist app.
